Overview
Join ICE Nottingham, Leicester and Derby Branch for this joint webinar with Engineers Without Borders, providing an introduction to the Engineers Without Borders movement.
Engineers Without Borders UK, emerged at the beginning of the millennium, during an era of greater global consciousness, which saw the world commit to the Millennium Development Goals.
During this webinar the speaker will talk about the movement. Whilst humanity has achieved incredible things, the progress has brought the planet to a perilous tipping point. Globally responsible engineering can help save the planet and make it a safe and sustainable place.
Engineers Without Borders started when a group of engineers gave their time and their skills to help people in Ethiopia during the famine of the early 1980s. Now there are 60 organisations around the world.
