Overview

Join us for an exciting event exploring the new York Street Station, a major infrastructure investment in North Belfast by the Department for Infrastructure. This session will dive into the station’s inclusive design, its role as a catalyst for local investment, and how it encourages a shift towards public transport.

We’ll discuss the comprehensive community consultation that shaped the project and the future impact of the station, including its renaming to reflect better its location in the vibrant heart of North Belfast.

The event will also feature a presentation on the station’s key design elements, including the public art installation themed around "journey lines" to symbolise connectivity.

This is a great opportunity to learn about the future of transport in Belfast and the innovative designs that make York Street Station a modern, welcoming space for all.
