Workshop 2: Attribute 1 (Technical and Practical Application of engineering)
Mark Crossfield, membership development officer for the North West, will give an introduction on Attribute 1, Technical and Practical Application of Engineering.
This will be followed by two short presentations from engineers who have recently reached professionally qualified status. They will present their experiences associated with Attribute 1 and provide examples of how they achieved it.
The workshop will then conclude with a short question and answer opportunity.

Kier Professional Services

George joined Kier Professional Services in 2018 as a graduate design engineer, initially based in Norwich and now working out of the Leeds office.
George spent most of his time working in temporary works design across a broad range of sectors that Kier operate within, including transport jobs such as highways and rail, utilities jobs such as water and power, and construction jobs like residential, educational and healthcare facilities.
He also spent 16 months seconded on site, first as a site engineer and later as sub agent, delivering some upgrades to four existing sewage treatment works operated by Thames Water in the Swindon area as part of AMP7.
Aimed at students, this series of seven webinars which runs until May 2025 will enable you to learn about professional life from recent graduates from across the industry.
