Overview

Careers Hubs improve careers education for young people by working directly with schools, colleges, apprenticeships providers and employers. They operate across the country, and through dedicated teams, support over 90% of schools and colleges and thousands of employers.

Careers programmes need to have a strong vocational component to ensure young people have information about the choices open to them at age 16+ and how to be ready to take advantage of work opportunities. London careers hubs support business volunteers work to with careers leaders in schools and colleges to make this happen.

For businesses, this means you are helping to develop the skills and future pipeline of employees, raising awareness of your sector and organisation, and developing closer connections with the local community.

For you personally, you will meet new people and grow your personal and professional network, improve your skills, challenge yourself and learn something new, and give back to your local community.

This 45-minute webinar will help you learn how to get involved and help young people find their best next step.
