Event organised by ICE
Join us for the first of our relaxed networking evenings where we get to hear about what some of our ECNet members do, share knowledge of civil engineering, and build connections across the industry through networking with fellow early careers members.
This in-person session will include a talk exploring why civil engineering is a fundamental discipline for the successful development of offshore wind farms.
It will cover key civil components, bringing the export cable onshore; routing the cable to the onshore substation and showcasing the variety of civil sub-disciplines involved. This presentation will highlight the diversity and excitement of this profession within the ever-evolving energy industry.
The event will begin at 5:30pm and run until about 7:30pm. After the presentation, food and soft drinks will be provided and there will be an opportunity for attendees to network with each other.
