Overview
When and how do we make ethics-based decisions in civil engineering? How do we know what an ethical decision is and how do we support civil engineers in making the ‘right’ decision?
At this event, hear from our panel as they debate the day-to-day ethical challenges faced by civil engineers. After the panel discussion, the floor will open to attendees to speak about issues faced across the industry and to discuss the best ways of supporting ethical decision making. Finally, the conversation will explore how to guide those new to the industry through ethics-related education and training.
The panel will be made up of ICE’s ethics committee, local ICE branch members and local education representatives.
