Overview
Join the ICE GWoS Early Careers Network for an exciting competition where civil engineering students from the universities across Glasgow deliver their take on the topic:
“How can technological advancements be leveraged to enhance the construction industry?”
This is a timeless question with an ever-evolving answer.
What to Expect:
- Engaging Presentations: Watch teams of students showcase their insights using creative methods. This could be anywhere from classic PowerPoint presentations to news reports or even theatre shows!
- Interactive Q&A: Participate in a lively question-and-answer session with the presenters, judges, and other attendees.
- Judging Criteria: Presentations will be evaluated based on the quality of content, effectiveness of communication, responses to questions, and the ability to ask insightful questions.
The students will hone their presentation skills while thinking about how best to answer the questions of the day in the civil engineering world, and attempting to communicate this information to non-technical audiences.
Don't miss this opportunity to see the future of civil engineering unfold before your eyes. Whether you're a professional in the field or simply interested in learning more, this competition promises to be both informative and inspiring.
Join us and be part of the conversation! Pizzas/sandwiches and soft drinks will be provided on the night.
