Overview
The City Gallery is Hong Kong's first exhibition hall with the theme of urban planning and large-scale infrastructure development. It showcases Hong Kong’s achievements in planning and infrastructure development while also acting as a platform for collaboration and exchange of planning ideas as well as public engagement.
During the visit to the City Gallery, participants can gain valuable insights into the principles of urban planning and the intricacies of large-scale infrastructure development. Members will learn about Hong Kong's unique challenges and innovative solutions in creating a sustainable urban environment. Through engaging exhibitions, members can explore the historical evolution of the city’s infrastructure, understand the significance of community involvement in the planning processes, and appreciate the importance of balancing development with environmental considerations. The gallery also offers interactive displays that encourage critical thinking about future urban challenges and the role of citizens in shaping their city.

Notes
- Registration will be confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis, with priority given to ICE HKA G&S members.
- The event will be conducted in Cantonese.
- Attendance certificates will be provided after two weeks of the event only if attendees attend the whole event.
- The above is subject to change without prior notice.
- Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events.
Adverse weather arrangement
The event will be cancelled or rescheduled to another date in the case of a black rainstorm signal, or typhoon signal no. 8 or above is issued by the Hong Kong Observatory at or after 13.45. The organiser reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event in view of safety or other considerations.
