Joint Cavern Development at Anderson Road Quarry Site On Yu Road Anderson Road Quarry Site Kowloon, Hong Kong
This event has now ended
Overview
The Joint Cavern Development at Anderson Road Quarry Site includes the design and construction of caverns, adits, and portals, along with the structural and architectural elements on both surface land and within caverns. This is for the reprovisioning of the Public Works Central Laboratory (PWCL) and the construction of the Government Records Service's new Archives Centre at the Anderson Road Quarry site. Additionally, the contract entails the subsequent demolition of the existing PWCL Building in Kowloon Bay. The objective of this project is to relocate the PWCL and build the Archives Centre within the caverns, thereby freeing up existing sites to expand land resources for social and economic development.
