Overview
Funded through the Scottish Government via the Scottish Prison Service (SPS), HMP Glasgow is a new build construction project that replaces the Victorian HMP Barlinnie. The project is being delivered by Contractor Kier Construction on a brown field site in the east end of Glasgow
The site visit will involve a presentation providing key insights to the project delivered by representatives from Kier Construction and will be followed by a guided tour of the site.
All attendees are required to bring their own safety boots with protective toecaps and midsole. Other mandatory PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves and hi-vis jackets will be provided on site. Please dress appropriately for the weather, warm clothing is recommended.
Registration for this event is limited; early booking is advisable.
