Overview
Join the ICE Early Careers Network East Midlands for a site visit to the North and East Melton Mowbray Distributor Road (NEMMDR) site in Leicestershire.
The NEMMDR is a major road scheme in Leicestershire aimed at reducing congestion in the town centre, as well as supporting growth in local employment and enabling local housing delivery.
The scheme includes six roundabouts, four new overbridges, numerous culverts, and extensive ground improvement works.
The following PPE is required for access to the site and will not be provided:
- Hard hat
- Long-sleeve his-vis top (orange preferred)
- Hi-vis trousers (orange preferred)
- Glasses
- Gloves
- Safety Boots
This event is a great opportunity for graduates, students and apprentices interested learning more about highways, structures, and construction.
