Overview

This session is designed to encourage and inspire new members to join the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) by providing a clear understanding of the membership pathways, benefits, and registration process. Attendees will gain insights into how ICE membership can support their career growth, professional recognition, and networking opportunities within the engineering industry.

The session will also serve as a platform to address any questions potential members may have about ICE, ensuring they have the information and confidence needed to take the next step in their professional journey.

The session will begin with a brief introduction to ICE Malaysia, highlighting its role in supporting engineers and the value it offers to aspiring members.

This will be followed by an overview of ICE membership categories, explaining the different grades of membership, their eligibility criteria, and the benefits they provide at various career stages.

To assist attendees in navigating the registration process, the session will include a step-by-step guide to joining ICE, covering key requirements, the application process, and useful resources for a smooth transition into membership.

To ensure participants have the opportunity to clarify any doubts or seek further guidance, the session will conclude with a Q&A segment, where attendees can ask questions about ICE membership, career progression, and professional development opportunities.

This event will be hosted by the Professional Development Team of the ICE Malaysia Graduate Network and aims to equip aspiring members with the knowledge and motivation to begin their ICE journey.
