Overview

The technical lecture on Inclusive Design is an event targeted on civil engineers of all grades to introduce and discuss the concept of inclusivity of design solutions. With a focus on promoting diversity, gender and age equality, participants can explore design ideas and various case studies.

The ECNet Committee representative will introduce the committee to the guests and the speaker. At the end of the presentation, the guests will have a chance to ask questions. The initial agenda for the speaker’s presentation includes:

  • What is inclusive design?
  • Why is inclusive design important to consider?
  • Who are you designing for and with?
  • When should inclusive design be considered in the process?
  • How do we design more inclusively?
