Overview
This year London Region’s Annual Summer Golf will return to Surrey Downs Golf Club on Thursday 19 June, teeing off from around 1pm.
The cost of golf, prizes and a light meal afterwards will be £50.
The format for this Summer Golf will be 18 holes singles stableford, playing from the yellow tees.
While the afternoon will be a relaxed affair with the emphasis on social enjoyment, for more serious golfers the event will be used to help select the two London Teams which will compete for the Thomas Telford Trophy at Seaton Carew Golf Club, Hartlepool, on Monday 1 September.
While all golfers are welcome on 19 June, selected team members (any grade of the Institution or the Civil Engineers’ Club (CEC) is eligible), will be required to have an active WHS Handicap Index and play with a maximum handicap of 24 in the Thomas Telford Trophy.
Please circulate this notice to your friends and golfing colleagues.
