Ian Gooden

Ian joined Chiumento in 2008 and held a series of senior commercial positions with the company before becoming executive chairman in 2019.

With over 35 years of HR and commercial experience, Ian is a well-known figure in the industry. He has held senior in-house roles with companies including Experian and Bombardier as well as in globally recognised HR consulting and support services businesses including Austin Knight and TMP Worldwide.

He is a chartered member of CIPD and sits on their Resourcing and Talent Planning Steering Group. He is also British Psychological Society Level B registered in Occupational Testing and a member of the Register of Qualification in Test Use (RQTU).

Ian remains an active consultant – particularly in leadership, team building, change and career transition. His key areas of focus include:

  • Leadership in complex, and often increasingly virtual, businesses
  • Leading organisations through change
  • Executive career transition
  • Onboarding in new roles
