HS2 site visit: Chalfont St Peter (ALIGN JV)

Overview

Align JV (HS2) is pleased to welcome the ICE Early Careers Network on a tour of our main site on the 23 August. The tour will consist of a shuttle bus visit at the South Portal, the starting point of the two twin-bored 16km tunnels, as well as our 3.2km viaduct. This will be followed by a PPE tour of Chalfont St Peter, the first and deepest shafts connecting to our tunnels in Buckinghamshire. 

• We only have 10 spaces available – on a first come, first served basis. As this is limited – please only book if you intend to attend. Names will be shared with the site team by Monday 19 August
• PPE will be provided – please share your top, trousers and boot size by Monday 19 August. If you wish to bring any of your own PPE then tops/trousers must be long sleeve and orange, safety boots must have steel toe/mid-sole protection (S3 rated) and safety glasses and gloves are to be worn
• This event is being organised by the ICE East of England ECNet but is open to other ECNet members in neighbouring regions
• Lunch will not be provided but visitors are free to use the on-site canteen before leaving.
