Overview
Join the ICE Early Career Network East Sussex and Kent for its AGM, reviewing the past year’s activities and outlining plans for the upcoming 2024/2025 period. A key highlight will be the election of new committee members and the opportunity to discuss future events and career development opportunities.
The ICE Early Career Network Committee supports early-career professionals in innovation, communication, and engineering by offering mentorship, networking, and career development opportunities.
Key roles include:
- Communication and media lead: manages the network’s online presence, promotes events, and engages members through content and communications.
- STEM liaison: builds partnerships with STEM organisations, connects members to career resources, and advocates for STEM professionals’ needs.
- Student liaison: engages students, providing career guidance, mentorship, and resources to help them transition from academia to industry.
- Treasurer: oversees the network’s finances, manages the budget, and coordinates fundraising and sponsorship efforts to sustain network activities.
If you're interested in any of these roles or have ideas for additional roles, please express your interest by emailing [email protected], highlighting the role you're interested in within the email subject. The network is happy to consider suggestions for new roles to further enhance its impact.
