Overview

The UK construction industry is on the brink of a new era, shaped by the transformative Procurement Act 2023. This legislation introduces significant changes to public procurement regulations, impacting how clients, contractors, and suppliers engage in major infrastructure projects.

From 24 February 2025, the way public bodies procure goods and services will be reshaped, streamlining processes and benefiting suppliers of all sizes, particularly small businesses, start-ups, and social enterprises. The Act promises greater flexibility and transparency, with a central digital platform and strengthened payment terms. However, navigating these shifts and their implications is essential for all stakeholders seeking to thrive in this evolving landscape.

Join us for a timely event as we delve into the multifaceted impact of the Procurement Act 2023 on the construction industry. Our expert panel will discuss the Act's key changes, exploring emerging trends and their effects on clients, contractors, and suppliers. They will examine the risks and opportunities presented by this new regulatory framework and discuss how organisations can proactively adapt to mitigate potential challenges and leverage emerging advantages.

Engage in a dynamic Q&A session, posing questions to our panellists and delving deeper into their experiences, challenges, and leading practices. Following the panel, there will be further opportunities to network with the attendants and panellists.
