Overview
Join this month's Technician Tea break discussion on how to interpret historical drawings for use in modern CAD, led by Steven Clifford.
The number of people being recognised as professional, capable civil engineering technicians and members of the Institution of Civil Engineers has increased dramatically over the last 5 years.
The Institution of Civil Engineers is an independent professional association and a charitable body. It aims to support the civil engineering profession, in part, by liaising directly with industry. Following on from the recent successful Technician Tea Breaks, the local Kent & East Sussex branch of the ICE would like to continue to meet with the growing body of technician members across the country, not just in South East England.
By establishing this link with local Technicians, we can gather online to discuss ways in which we can help ourselves, each other and the ICE to provide ongoing learning and experience in the wide world of civil engineering.
During these sessions, at each of these meetings, we would like to spend a short time discussing a theme. We would also welcome any suggestions for topics for discussion at future online tea breaks.
This event is for the benefit of Technician Members (EngTech MICE/FICE) and technicians interested in becoming members wherever you may be living or working. We look forward to meeting with you virtually.
