Overview
Join the ICE West Midlands Birmingham, Solihull and Black Country Branch at the University of Birmingham’s BIM (Building Information Modelling) cave for a hands on session to see and explore some of the latest industrial tools utilised in the civil engineering virtual design of structures and buildings.
This event will provide insights into the expansion of the digital tools within the engineering industry, from looking at early digital design stages through to the utilisation of tools to validate constructed assets, and 4D scheduling of construction.
Presentations will also discuss educational utilisation and aspects for parties of all ages and backgrounds, highlighting a new view of engineering as a future digital career.
