Overview
The ICE Yorkshire and Humber Early Careers Network (ICE Y&H ECN) represents graduates, students, technicians, and apprentices based across Yorkshire and Humber. This includes those in higher education and/or working towards getting professionally qualified.
These monthly meetings are an excellent opportunity to meet local like-minded graduates, students, apprentices, and technicians within the ICE. It provides a great environment for support and advice no matter what stage you are in your career. We always welcome new members along and look forward to hearing new ideas.
In this meeting, ECN chair Milo Hughes will focus on the geotechnical design for a major road scheme. He’ll focus on the aspects of innovative earthwork designs and how to choose foundation types. This will be followed by a Q&A.
The meeting will be hybrid event. Once you've registered, the ICE Yorkshire and Humber team will be in touch with the details for joining the meeting and provide a copy of any relevant meeting documents (agenda and previous meeting minutes for example).
