Overview

The communication task forms part of the assessment of the ‘Interpersonal Skill and Communication’ attribute in the CEng Professional Review. At a Chartered Professional Review (CPR or CPRP), the aim is to test your ability to take a piece of information, digest it, organise your thoughts and put them forward logically and clearly in writing.

Based on current issues within the industry, you are expected to respond as an engaged civil engineer, not as a technical expert on the chosen theme for this event: managing utilities (water and sanitation and energy supply).

This event is of particular interest to those who are preparing for their Professional Review at CEng level.

The format of the session will consist of:

  • Welcome and introductions
  • 10-minute introduction to the theme
  • 30-minute breakout group discussion
  • 15-minute group feedback

This will be held online via Microsoft Teams. Joining details and information on the topic question and selected response format will be sent to the email address you have registered with, a few days prior to the event.

This session is part of a series:

Please note you are not required to attend all sessions but will need to register for the individual topics you wish to attend.
