Overview

The communication task forms part of the assessment of the ‘Interpersonal Skill and Communication’ attribute in the IEng Professional Review. At an Incorporated Professional Review (IPR), the objective is to confirm that you can produce straightforward documents without assistance from others and you have the ability to report factual information clearly.

Based on current issues within the industry, you are expected to respond as an engaged civil engineer, not as a technical expert on the chosen theme for this event: sustainable development and professional commitment

This event is of particular interest to those who are preparing for their Professional Review at IEng level.

The format of the session will consist of:

  • Welcome and introductions
  • 10-minute introduction to the theme
  • 30-minute breakout group discussion
  • 15-minute group feedback

This will be held online via Microsoft Teams. Joining details and information on the topic question and selected response format will be sent a few days prior to the event.

This event is hosted by ICE Early Careers Networks from the East Midlands, West Midlands and East of England Region.
