Overview
The Belfast Transport Hub is a £multi-million investment and flagship project prioritised in the Programme for Government for funding. The surrounding new city neighbourhood called ‘Weavers Cross’ offers huge investment potential, allowing for over 100,000m2 of commercial space alongside significant residential and amenity space.
Located on an 8-hectare site beside the current Europa Buscentre and Great Victoria Street Stations, it will be the main transport gateway to Belfast, creating a sense of arrival in a modern, progressive city, with rail, bus and coach connections to all parts of Northern Ireland and beyond.
A joint meeting with CIHT, this project will be presented by Arup’s Infrastructure Director Chris Caves and Translink’s Senior Programme Manager Duncan McAllister.
