Overview
This online talk aims to help engineers take their first steps into how they can assist with the Climate Emergency.
As the engineering industry knuckles down to address the Climate Emergency and asks: “What can we do?”, this presentation will bring together two leaders within the field of sustainable design to address some of those issues.
Although a broad subject area with many challenges, the talk will focus on where we’ve been, where we’re going, and will look at how as engineers we can contribute more. This will range from designing using ‘standard’ materials better, looking at alternative materials and their applications, as well as raising the question – do we need to build?
