Overview
This is a virtual event open to all ICE members, Professional Engineering Institutions, and members of the public. The event will be recorded live.
We are delighted to welcome Matt Bleasdale from OWLC to discuss a programme that has the potential to increase the efficiency of offshore wind energy generation. The Gravity Tripod is a concrete hybrid substructure for offshore wind turbines and Matt will present an overview of this patented technology and some of the benefits it could bring to this part of the green energy sector. There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions at the end of the presentation.
This is a virtual event and will be chaired by David Allen from ICE South Branch.
