Overview

The Emerging Engineers Award acknowledges remarkable research, innovation, and presentation skills exhibited by ICE Student and Graduate Members worldwide, including the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It provides valuable training in both written and verbal communication, serving as excellent preparation for vivas or professional evaluations.

Distinguished judges meticulously select the top participants who will showcase their work and compete for prizes at the regional final. Regional winners receive acclaim for themselves and their academic institutions or employers, as well as opportunities for publication and prize recognition. The ultimate victor might be eligible for earning a spot in the 2023 Emerging Engineers Award global final, hosted at ICE's headquarters in London, along with additional cash prizes and the esteemed Institution Medal awarded to the global champion.

In the recent MENA Heat Emerging Engineers Award competition held in March 2023, our members submitted several papers, all demonstrating exceptional performance. Following a rigorous evaluation by experienced judges, two candidates have been shortlisted for this year's MENA regional final.
