Overview
David Seaton - Senior Infrastructure Programme Manager and Parthena Exizidou (known as Nopi) will give a presentation about BAS’ work in Antarctica, This will include some of the science of climate change, work on the new wharf to accommodate the RRS Sir David Attenborough at the Rothera Research Station and some lessons for UK infrastructure.
We’ve asked David and Nopi to highlight some of the techniques/innovations that have been used/introduced on the scheme – particularly those that have contributed towards reduced waste, logistical challenges and impact on CO2 emissions.
