Overview
The Committee on Climate Change has highlighted the vital role of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologies for achieving the UK’s 2050 net-zero emissions target. It estimates that in 2050 somewhere between 75 to 175 million tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO2) will need to be removed from the atmosphere by CCS annually.
