Overview
Meet an engineer this National Apprentice Week!
In National Apprenticeship week the Institution of Civil Engineers will introduce you to budding Civil Engineers from across the globe. We want to introduce you to Graduates, Technicians and Senior Engineers in the Yorkshire and Humber Region and allow them to showcase their path into the industry by taking the apprenticeship route to an exciting profession that is literally shaping the local area you live in.
Engineers in Yorkshire and Humber are building roads, transforming cities, protecting housing from flooding and solving some of the biggest challenges that we as not only a region but as a generation are facing.
We want you to join us and to start your journey as a Civil Engineer now! By showcasing the apprenticeship route and projects you could work on in the industry we’re hoping to inspire you to join us in doing what we love.
This session will aim to provide you with an insight into varying levels of roles within our region and give you some context on how other Civil Engineers journeys began their journey in this way. It will also give you a chance to briefly understand some of the projects you could become involved in if you chose to become a Civil Engineer in the Yorkshire and Humber.
