Overview
Aimed at 16 to 18-year-olds, this webinar will introduce you to Graduates, Technicians and Senior Engineers in Yorkshire and Humber, and showcase an exciting profession that is literally shaping the local area you live in.
Engineers in Yorkshire and Humber are building roads, transforming cities, protecting housing from flooding and solving some of the biggest challenges that we as a generation are facin,g.
We want you to join us and to start your journey as a Civil Engineer now! By showing you the many different routes and projects you could work on in the industry, we’re hoping to inspire you to join us in doing what we love.
This session will aim to provide you with an insight into various roles within our region and give you some context on how other Civil Engineers' journeys began. It will also give you a chance to briefly understand some of the projects you could become involved in if you choose to become a Civil Engineer in Yorkshire and Humber.
They’ll be plenty of time for questions, we’ll be sending out a link so you can ask any questions anonymously and we encourage you to challenge our panel on why they do what they do and their route into the industry.
