Overview
The Emerging Engineers award promotes and recognises outstanding communication of civil engineering work. The North East and Yorkshire & Humber joint regional finalists will receive cash prizes:
- 1st Prize £250
- 2nd Prize £150
- 3rd Prize £100
We will be testing the applicants’ communication skills by asking them to submit a paper. The paper will discuss concepts drawn from their own work - such as research, project papers and written exercise reports. Short listed applicants from the region will then be invited to give a short presentation on their paper at the regional heat.
An overall winner will be invited to present at the national final at the ICE’s Headquarters in London later in the year with a chance to win £1,500.
