Overview

ICE Northern Ireland needs you! With a number of exciting new activities planned this year, as well as a return to in-person school visits, we need more ICE Ambassadors. We also need previously registered Ambassadors to check and update their registration.

This short information session will outline the important role of our ICE Northern Ireland STEM Ambassadors and the work they do in promoting civil engineering careers to the next generation.

ICE NI’s Senior Vice Chair, Brenda O’Loan, will be joined by one of our leading STEM Ambassadors, Ruth Kelly, to help you understand what’s involved and what you get out of volunteering. Anna Monaghan from Deliberate Learning, who manage the STEM Hub in NI, will outline the process for you to register as an ICE Ambassador.

This event is for prospective new ICE Ambassadors, as well as a refresher for previously registered volunteers who may need to refresh their checks and records – we encourage you to sign into your STEM Ambassador account to check.
