Overview
Join the South Asia Early Careers Network Committee as they hold the first of their planned programme of events in 2023.
The ECNet is a voluntary, cross-industry group of Graduate and Student members who are working towards their professional qualification. Each member has an interest in inspiring their peers and the younger generations. The group will form an integral part of ICE strategy in South Asia.
Objectives:
Existing Graduates & Students Committees will coordinate a range of activity including:
- Providing a collective support group for those looking to progress to MICE
- Networking and social events
- Site visits
- Industry talks (construction practice / design practice / research)
The forum will be run by Graduate and student members with Regional Representatives in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Delhi and Chennai.
Programme
- Welcome & introducing the panellists (10 minutes)
- Sabih Khisaf, VP international to introduce ICE at the International level (15 minutes)
- What is the purpose of the Early Careers Network, and how it helps your career? – Ruth Marsden, Global Chair ECNET (10 minutes)
- Introduction to the SA ECNet, its purpose and business plan for the founding year – Shivom, Chair SA ECNet (10 miunutes)
- Welcome those on the committee – Naureen Laila, SA ECN Bangladesh Representative (5 minutes)
- Advertise the vacancies – Tondup Wangail, ICE President’s Future Leader 20/21 (Rachel Skinner) (10 minutes)
