Overview
As Highways England moves into its latest form of maintenance contracts, one of the most significant changes is how we manage our assets and how we make decisions. This affects the management of our structures as much as any other asset, with the key changes being the move to bring inspectors, early stage engineers and key maintenance decisions in-house. This also affects how we investigate, analyse and understand our structures.
The aim of this event is to talk through some of these changes to give the local engineering community a taste of what will change and how it might affect key client/consultant/contractor relationships in the South East.
