Join the ICE West Midlands Graduates and Students Committee for this exclusive lecture presented by Nicola Small of Coventry City Council and Dr Chris Micallef of Warwick Manufacturing Group. This lecture will explore the unique innovation and collaboration between government, academia and industry in the delivery a world-first, mass transit solution for small to medium cities.
Coventry City Council were set the challenge in 2017 of developing an affordable solution which would enable the development of a city-wide light rail network. This culminated with the testing of a full-scale demonstration of the new battery powered vehicle and the unveiling of a newly developed innovative track-form, offering an exciting glimpse into the future of things to come.
