About this event

The NNDR will provide a dual carriageway link from the national road network to Norwich International Airport and beyond, serving a large area of Broadland and North Norfolk, including existing and planned business and housing areas.

The 20km dual carriageway, developed by Norfolk County Council, is the biggest local authority promoted road construction scheme in the country, running around the east and north of Norwich from the A47 at Postwick (at the eastern end of Norwich Southern Bypass) to the A1067 Norwich to Fakenham Road.

The main construction contract awarded to Balfour Beatty started on 4 January 2016 and includes nine main structures – six bridges over the new road, and three under (an underpass and two bridges to cross the Norwich to Sheringham railway and Plumstead Road).

Attendees will need to bring their own PPE consisting of Long sleeve high vis jacket, high vis trousers, hard hat, safety boots, (not rigger boots), gloves and eye protection.

Attendees should therefore bring the appropriate PPE, including safety boots, hi-viz jacket, safety helmet and gloves.

Numbers are limited to 20 and online booking is essential.
