About this event

Colin's presentation will highlight the technical issues of soil mixing and soil remediation and the necessary procedures required to ensure technical compliance with design codes and practices. He will also demonstrate the various procedures for on-site works and the type of plant required to do this and importantly show with key case studies how new soil mixing techniques can transform severely contaminated or poor quality land into commercially viable land that can be developed.

Director of Deep Soil Mixing Ltd, Colin Critchlow has over 50 years' experience in the construction and civil engineering industry with top companies including John Laing Construction, Kier, Tarmac and John Mowlem PLC. Colin and business partner Robert McGall established Deep Soil Mixing Ltd in 2012 and now have a successful company that has undertaken projects in the UK through to Africa, including installing over 1000 soil mixed panels on the Mersey Gateway Project.
