About this event

Andun have extensive experience in specialist temporary works design and demolition engineering spanning over 25 years. 

This includes:
1)    Design of temporary works
2)    Complex demolition
3)    Specialist lifting

The webinar will include the consultancy approach to various types of demolition works and good practice associated with these, construction and operations as outlined below:
•    Demolition & sequencing
•    Associated temporary works with the above
•    Lifting equipment to facilitate demolition works
•    Rail temporary works

A summary of local project case studies will also be covered including Regent Street Flyover, Leeds which included the complex demolition of two adjacent flyover’s under a phasing regime.

Angus has been Managing Director since 2017 and is responsible for the day to day operation and strategic development of the business. This includes overseeing the growth and development of the business to four offices across the UK. 

Angus is chartered with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and regularly delivers CPD training and educational talks for industry bodies such as the ICE and Institute of Demolition Engineers (IDE).

Director, West Midlands office

Josh joined Andun as a placement student as Andun's third employee and has progressed through the business to be appointed a director in 2021. Having founded the West Midlands office in 2017, he supports our client projects across the north of the country. He has a wide range of expertise in temporary works and demolition and has presented a number of monthly Andun temporary works CPD webinars.

Josh is an active member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and is their Honorary Secretary for the North West region. He achieved IEng through the company training scheme and is in the process of completing his CEng.
