About this event

During the talk, each decade will be visited and the gradually changing face of construction and its influence on temporary works will be portrayed.

This will include legislation, construction methods and materials, design codes and attitudes towards safety.

Several current topics will be highlighted and some probes into the next decade will be offered. Throughout this journey, a varied selection of temporary works -related successes and failures will be discussed.

This will show how the once marginalised temporary works sector has gradually become mainstream within the industry.
