About this event

The Clair Ridge Project is an offshore oil and gas platform development located in the NE Atlantic, West of the Shetland Isles. It is one of the largest developments on the UK Continental Shelf and has required a significant effort by the Clair Ridge Partners and Contractors to deliver it to the current hook-up and commissioning phase.

This talk looks at the overall development, the design of the structures and facilities for this hostile environment and their fabrication, transportation and installation. This includes the pre-drilling template, the two jackets and their associated topsides.

The presenters have been involved with the project for many years, with Paul Keeler managing the Transport and Installation scope and Kevin Hampson the particularly challenging geotechnical scope.
