What the industry must learn from Grenfell.

About this event

The Grenfell Tower fire was a devastating event that caused national shock throughout the country and raised concern that any failings may be systemic within the industry and not site specific. As a Public Inquiry into the disaster continues, organisations and professionals within the built environment sector have examined whether action needs to be taken in light of the lessons learned.

Alastair and Paul shall summarise the findings of the Hackitt Report and the ICE's 'In plain sight' report. Key insight shall be provided on whether there are systematic risks which exist within the infrastructure sector.

Please note that the talk cannot investigate the full details of the Grenfell Tower disaster in any great length, as these remain subject to a Public Inquiry.
