Overview

The National Centre for Accessible Transport (NCAT) works with disabled people to influence the transport sector and create a more inclusive society through accessible transport.

Join this session to learn how NCAT supports user-centred development processes and innovative co-designed solutions to ensure that future travel systems have accessibility for disabled people at the heart of their development and delivery.

The talk is led by Giles Perkins, NCAT board member and WSP's lead on UK future mobility. Giles, who is based in Exeter, will give an overview of NCAT's approach and share insights from his long career in transport, including WSP's work aimed at reducing the accessibility gap facing people with visible and hidden disabilities on Britain's transport network.
