Book nowThe communication task forms part of the assessment of the interpersonal skill and communication attribute in the CEng Professional Review. This session will focus on diversity and inclusion - an important component of the attribute.
Although the event is open to all ICE members, it's particularly useful if you're preparing for your CEng Professional Review.
An ICE membership development officer will start by introducing the communication task as part of the CEng Professional Review. This will be followed by a guest speaker who will introduce the topic of diversity and inclusion.
Breakout groups will be formed to discuss questions posed by the guest speaker on the theme. The event will be concluded with a group feedback discussion.
The session will focus on the ethics of diversity and inclusion, particularly the ICE code of professional conduct around equitable, inclusive design and best practice within the built environment.
Participants are encouraged to prepare by doing some research and reading around the theme.
This event is part of a series of six sessions to provide guidance on how to communicate well within industry-specific themes or contexts.
This event is being organised by the ICE South West Early Careers Network.
If you require any reasonable adjustments or accommodations, please let us know using the special requirements box on the booking page. This event will be held online.
