The presentation
Peter Robinson from AECOM will deliver a presentation on the award-winning Glasgow Smart Canal project, which supports the development and regeneration of North Glasgow. He will share an insight into the Glasgow Smart Canal project from concept to operation. This project has transformed the Forth and Clyde canal’s purpose to support the 21st century society, using technology and forecasting within the wider North Glasgow Integrated Water Management System.
This system repurposes existing infrastructure to provide climate adaptation at a significantly reduced financial and carbon cost to the traditional solutions that have been integrated into the wider area to support the reinvigoration of a significant area of the city.
We aim to ensure that our events and venues are accessible to all. If you have particular needs, please let us know and we’ll always do our best to accommodate.
Please note bookings for this event close on 11 September.
