Vijay Ramamurthy

Vijay Ramamurthy is a Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE) working with WSP India. He holds a master’s degree from University of Dundee and is also the Vice-Chair for ICE Local Chapter Bengaluru. He has worked on various infrastructure projects in UK, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Canada and India. He is well versed with relevant codes, H&S legislation and contracts. He has experience in setting up offshore centres to serve various markets and countries.

He has hands on experience of end-to-end project life cycle of UK projects from Bid work to project closure and hand over. He has worked with National Highways, Local Authorities and Statutory Undertakers. Some of key projects he has worked are Scheme Delivery Framework, A11 Fiveways to Thetford, A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon, M25 DBFO, Area 6 MAC, TFL STIP 2, EA PAN Area Inspections, Cambridge North Train Station and 2012 London Olympics.

He has experience in developing engineers and technicians to build high performing teams. He has championed delivering projects in number of countries utilising global talent pool. He has working knowledge across all disciplines in T&I. He has undertaken the role of CRE and CRM.

Kiran Khatavkar

Kiran Khatavkar, BE Civil (Hons), a Chartered Engineer with Civil/Structural Engineering background with more than 32 years’ experience in Power Infrastructure Industry (Generation to Distribution). He has experience in Detail Design, Design Review/Assurance, Structural Integrity Assessment works and Project Management.

In the past, he worked with number of Multinational Consultants working on many types of projects in Power Sector (Nuclear Power Stations, Power Plants, Substations, OHL, Underground Substation, RO Plant, and Tank Farms & Wastewater Treatment Plants) and has also exposure to having designed multi story buildings with basements & sports facilities acquiring wide range of expertise in areas of structural engineering. He has worked 15 years in the Middle East (KSA, Oman & UAE) and 2 years in the South-East Asia (Malaysia).

He is currently leading team of 250 and responsible for delivering designs on Infrastructure Projects of UK (including Enabling Works for Nuclear Plant), Middle East and Sri Lanka from GTC Bengaluru. He has contributed to total life cycle of the project from Feasibility to Detail design of Power Sector Generation to Distribution Projects.
