Book nowThis new Initial Professional Development (IPD) workshop programme will take place every first Wednesday of the month providing an opportunity to meet with others working towards becoming professionally qualified.
Think of it as your IPD club!
You'll be able to discuss attributes, progress with your written evidence and write reports in a supportive environment.
James Moody, Tom Merry and Alex Buley will be on hand to offer advice, share their experiences, help you develop and work towards your goal of becoming professionally qualified.
While the workshop is aimed at people working towards their professional qualifications, everyone is welcome.
The workshops have been organised by the ICE Exeter City Club and the ICE Exeter Early Career Network (ECNet).

James has 9 years of post-graduate experience who has delivered a wide range of projects with experience working across residential, commercial, educational and military sectors before joining the team at MMB.

Tom is a Chartered Engineer working as a design lead for Mott Macdonald Bentley with a strong background in structural engineering. As a part of his current role, he currently works in the clean water industry, leading a team of engineers across a range of projects for water companies.
Join us as we explore technologies that have been deployed, current best practice and what to look out for to our distinguished engaged professionals across multiple industries. This will be a highly engaging session where audience participation is highly encouraged.
Join the ICE Exeter City Club and the ICE Exeter Early Careers Network to work with like-minded people to write up IPD evidence and reports while being supported by chartered engineers.
The joint event between the ICE and InstRE will explore notable cases where civil and military engineers have innovated together to help the country through times of crisis.
