This year represents the 38th staging of the ICE Wales (South) regional golf day, returning to the excellent 6,267-yard par 70 course at St Mellons Golf Club for the first time in a few years.
The day consists of a welcome tea/coffee and bacon roll, a round of competitive golf and an optional after match meal.
The golf day will be a Stableford Competition played off full handicap (maximum 24 shots). Day is open to players of all standards and no formal handicap required to participate.
Players finishing in the top four places will be selected to represent the Wales region in the annual National Thomas Telford Trophy which in 2025 is to be hosted by the Northeast region over the historic Seaton Carew golf course on 31 August/01 September.
All playing ICE members of any grade are eligible for selection subject to holding a valid handicap certificate.
ICE Members are encouraged to invite professional colleagues and friends as guests for the day.
There will be a separate guest competition.
Fees
- £52.00 per player (golf plus coffee/roll on arrival plus one course evening meal)*
- £ 5.00 per entry (prize fund)
*reduced to £15 for St Mellons’ members.
