Overview

Yorkshire and Humber is the largest region in the United Kingdom. With over 4,700 ICE members spread geographically across the region, we recognise the importance of localised hubs, where members can participate and interact with each other. In this endeavour, we have launched four branches across Yorkshire and Humber. A launch event for the newly formed York and North Yorkshire Branch took place in the City of York in November 2024.

West Yorkshire branch is the second of the branches to launch on 29 January 2025 in Leeds. If you would like to know more about this branch, live locally or within the geographical boundary of this branch, please join us. The hub for this branch is Bradford.

You will hear from the West Yorkshire Branch chair Victoria Brayshaw, who is a female Fellow of the ICE. Victoria will be joined by the ICE regional director for Yorkshire and Humber and members of the branch committee. We encourage members from West Yorkshire to join us to find out how to get involved with the ICE in your local hub.

Victoria Brayshaw

Victoria Brayshaw is the head of civil engineering and a framework director in Tetra Tech’s UK division. She leads a national team of engineers, designers, and flood risk management consultants. She has been involved with the ICE for more than 20 years, including as a student, graduate, member, supervising civil engineer and a fellow. Outside of Tetra Tech, Victoria is a volunteer mentor for women in construction.
