Overview

1 in 8 men in the UK will develop prostate cancer in their lifetime. This risk doubles to 1 in 4 for men who are black, or have a family history of prostate, breast or ovarian cancer.

Globally, prostate cancer is the second most diagnosed cancer. Every year, in the UK alone, 10,000 men receive a prostate cancer diagnosis too late for a cure.

During this webinar, leading men’s health charity, Prostate Cancer UK, will help you understand prostate cancer and your risk, dispel any myths and help you work out what happens next.

The webinar will explore:

  • What a prostate is, and which conditions affect it
  • Key risk factors
  • Testing for prostate cancer
  • Common myths
  • Support services
